Lightest Double Stroller
If you're looking for a light double stroller, weight and folded dimensions are important factors to consider. Choosing one that's easy to handle and compact when not when not in use makes it much easier to place into the trunk of your car, and to maneuver through airport gates and foreign streets.
The most lightweight strollers have an easy, light fold and self-standing mechanisms to reduce stress on parent bodies. Many also come with a wide range of seating configurations and can accommodate infant car seat carriers.
Kolcraft Cloud Plus
Created for families who are constantly on the move. Compact and light weight, it has an easy one-handed fold. The front suspension and all-terrain wheels, as well as the multi-position reclining seats, can be used for children up to 50 pounds. Parent and child trays along with a large storage bin and 3-tier extended canopy with windows that peek out to maximize sun protection.
The Cloud scored one of the lowest marks in our tests of quality because it has a thin, hard plastic seat and a style that is dated. It's also more expensive than other lightweight strollers which is why it's not the best option in the event you're looking for a budget option.
It's not the most light stroller but it has enough features that it is worth a look. The swiveling front wheels make it easy to maneuver on flat surfaces and it can jump curbs with minimal effort unlike other light strollers that diverge when trying to do the similar thing. The low handle of the Cloud is a disadvantage, however; it's nearly at knee level and isn't adjustable. It's not comfortable to push with your legs dangling in the air like that, and it doesn't help that it lacks padding.
During our testing, we discovered that the Cloud was simple to set up and use. It's a little more challenging to close, however; you must slide a slider and then push a large white button to get it to collapse. This can be a hassle, especially if you're juggling kids at the same time.
The Cloud has a small but deep storage basket that could be used to fit a medium-sized diaper bag. It's a bit narrow, though it's likely that you'll need to put something in it to reach back to take it out. The Cloud comes with an adult tray and a child tray each with two cup holders. But both are too small for larger bottles or cups.

Jeep Destination Ultralight SBS
Jeep Destination Ultralight SBS is a lightweight and minimalist double stroller that's great for traveling. It's super light at just 18 lbs (lighter than many single strollers!) and can fold flat for easy transport and storage. It also has independently reclined seats and large all-weather SPF 50 sun visors with peekaboo windows and extra-large under-seat storage bags. The visors can be adjusted to accommodate children of different heights. It also has an integrated parking brake with one step and is Disney-sized approved.
The swivel wheels of the Jeep are also great to maneuver over bumps and uneven surfaces. This stroller doesn't accept car seats. Your child must be at least six months old and possess a good neck control to be able to ride in the front seat. It does have an attractive, three-panel sun canopy, however and each seat comes with its own snack tray and cup holders for parents.
Valco Baby Snap Duo Trend is yet another extremely light stroller that can be used side by side. It's heavier than the Kolcraft Cloud Plus, at 23 lbs. However, it's narrower and thinner (26.5 inches wide!) It's packed with elegant features that make it perfect for travel. It has a super simple fold, is very maneuverable and fits into airplane overhead compartments and trunks easily.
The Joovy Kooper X2 tri-folds and is ultralight, similar to the Summer Infant 3D Pac CS+ Double or Mountain Buggy Nano Duo. It's quite similar to the Jeep Destination Ultralight SBS, but it has some key differences. It's also a bit more expensive, but it has greater maneuverability and the largest sun canopy. It also comes with a handy carry strap and can accommodate kids up to 44 lbs per seat.
Summer 3D Pac for Infants CS+
If you're looking for a stroller that's light but packed with features, look no further than Summer Infant 3D Pac CS+. It is not only incredibly lightweight at just 13 lbs but also comes with a ton of storage, including child and parent cupholders, a child's sippy-cup pouch as well as a pocket for storage for parents and so on. It can also be used with a child's car seat and has an easy-to-engage brake that can be used flip-flop. It's designed to evolve with your child from a newborn stroller to an adult stroller by attaching the car seat adapters (sold separately) and is suitable for children 6 months old and up.
Another thing to note about this stroller is that it only operates on swivel wheels, and doesn't have locking options therefore it may not be the best option for terrain that is rocky or hilly. It's a great stroller for sidewalks that are paved and other smooth surfaces, however, so it's still an excellent option for most families.
This is among the smallest and light double strollers, with all-size features. The quick-close feature allows you to fold it down with just one hand in seconds, and it's small enough to store easily in your garage or trunk. It can also be used as an infant stroller and is compatible with a variety of car seats without the need for additional adapters.
The Summer Infant 3D Pac CS+ is unique from other strollers for travel because it has two distinct seats that can each support up to 100 pounds. The seats feature individual leg rests, as well as three-panel canopy that has flip-out sunvisors and peekaboo window.
The seats are padded for your infant's comfort. They come with a five-point padded safety harness that can be adjusted to three different heights. Each seat comes with an infant cushion that is perfect for babies. The cup holders for parents and child, the phone holders and the big storage basket will be appreciated by parents. The stroller can also be equipped with the Yoyo+ Board, which turns it into a tandem stroller.
Joovy X2 Kooper
The Kooper X2 double stroller is a great choice for parents who want an easy-to-use double that can accommodate two children. The sling-style seats are comfy and provide a similar amount of headroom, allowing children to sit together. double pram and pushchair is unique in that it has a fully reclined seat, which makes it an ideal choice for napping. Its recline mechanism is simple to use but doesn't go genuinely flat; taller kids might find they have a leg that hangs out of the way when sitting in a reclined position. It also has a big canopy that we found to be more effective at blocking the sun's rays than other strollers in our evaluation of the top double strollers.
The stroller is lightweight enough to be able to move through door frames. This was an important issue with other models we tried. It folds easily and the handlebars are close to the ground. The only drawback is its limited storage space, which feels tight when stuffed with things for kids.
